• From Oudtshoorn:

Follow N9, N12 over the Outeniqua Pass. On entering George, turn right at first traffic light, Witfontein Rd. Go 2km to Montagu St. Turn right into Maitland St.

• From Knysna and Wilderness:

After climbing up from Kaaimans River gorge from Wilderness, take the right lane off N2 into George, Courtnay St. Keep straight, street becomes Davidson Rd. Continue to end. Turn right and then after 1km turn left at traffic lights into Witfontein Rd. Signs to Blanco and Fancourt, after 2km and around left bend, turn right into Maitland St.

• From Mossel Bay and Cape Town N2:

Take turn off Airport (Exit 425) and go left around the Airport site and buildings to Stop sign at R102. At cross-road, go straight across (R404). After 5 minutes enter Town area, pass Fancourt Golf Estate, after 500m, turn left into Maitland St. Ambleside is at the very top of the hill on the right.
